Meet Tyler

Tyler was raised in Great Falls, Montana, with an interest in wildlife and biology. His athletic and academic dreams led him to the University of Montana, where he played football for the Griz, and pursued a degree in Biology.  An interest in physical therapy grew from many hours of physical rehabilitation after several surgeries during his playing career, so he completed the DPT program at the University of Montana in 2013. Tyler's mother, Joy, was a physical therapist in Great Falls.

Experience:

- Division I football career University of Montana, 2004-2008

- Personal experience through multiple surgeries/injuries, including multi-ligament knee reconstruction

- 10 years of working with acute and chronic spine conditions

- Have worked with multiple Collegiate, Professional, and Olympic level athletes

Specialty Areas of Treatment:

- Neck pain: whiplash, motor vehicle accidents, falls, arthritis, pinched nerves (radiculopathy)

- Back pain: degenerative disc disease, arthritis, stenosis, chronic back pain

- Headaches: cervicogenic, tension-type, migraines

- Sports injuries: shoulder pain, hip pain, knee pain, elbow pain

- Heel pain, plantar fasciitis, tennis elbow, tendonitis

Tyler and his wife Jamie welcomed their first child, Cooper, in 2022.  Jamie is a Nurse Practitioner, working for Logan Health Primary Care in Kalispell. You can find Tyler and Jamie on a hiking trail, at the lake, or recreating with their two Labrador retrievers.
